TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following Client Terms & Policies outline the terms, conditions, and expectations when booking services or purchasing products from Golden Pearl Designs & Events. These policies are designed to ensure a smooth, transparent, and enjoyable experience for both parties. By booking, purchasing, or engaging our services, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined below. (Policies are subject to change - updated: 01.07.26)


Payments & Retainers


A non-refundable retainer is required to secure any booking or begin any custom work. Remaining balances must be paid in full by the date specified in the agreement. No work, production, or event setup will occur until payment requirements are met.


Cancellations & Rescheduling


Retainers are non-refundable. If a client cancels, any payments made beyond the retainer may be refunded at the sole discretion of Golden Pearl Designs & Events if work has not begun. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.


Custom Work & Refunds


Due to the custom and personalized nature of services and products, all custom orders are final once production has begun. No refunds will be issued for custom work after approval.


Design Approval & Revisions


Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving all designs, mockups, spelling, dates, and details before production. Once approval is given, Golden Pearl Designs & Events is not responsible for errors or changes requested thereafter.


Intellectual Property


All designs remain the intellectual property of Golden Pearl Designs & Events unless otherwise stated. Clients receive a limited license for personal use only.


Photography & Marketing


Golden Pearl Designs & Events reserves the right to photograph completed work and events for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes unless the client provides written objection prior to the event.


LIABLITY


Golden Pearl Designs & Events is not responsible for damages caused by venues, guests, weather, third-party vendors, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.The Client accepts responsibility for any damage to decor or products during setup, event use, or removal, and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Golden Pearl Designs & Events from any resulting claims or losses.


GOVERNING LAW


All agreements are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.


Client Responsibilities


The client agrees to provide accurate information, timely approvals, required access, and prompt communication as needed for successful completion of services.


Professional Conduct


Golden Pearl Designs & Events maintains a respectful, professional working environment. Harassment, disrespectful communication, or unreasonable demands may result in termination of services without refund.


Acknowledgment of Receipt


The client confirms receipt of a copy of this agreement.
